(Commerce City = Wongeol Jeong) Drew Moor was inducted into the Colorado Rapids Gallery of Honor on Saturday night at halftime of the team's match against FC Dallas. Moor, who played for the Rapids from 2006 to 2017, is the seventh player to be inducted into the club's Hall of Fame.

Moor's name and number (14) were unveiled on the west stand of DICK'S Sporting Goods Park, joining the likes of Marcelo Balboa, Pablo Mastroeni, and Jeff Cunningham. The former defender also gave a speech to the crowd, thanking the Rapids organization and fans for their support over the years.

"It's an incredible honor to be inducted into the Colorado Rapids Gallery of Honor," Moor said. "This club has meant so much to me, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have played here for so many years."

Moor was a key member of the Rapids' first two MLS Cup championship teams in 2006 and 2010. He was also named to the MLS Best XI in 2010 and 2011. Moor retired from professional soccer in 2018.

The Rapids honored Moor with a special pregame ceremony, which included a video tribute and a speech from former teammate Pablo Mastroeni. Moor was also presented with a custom jersey and a framed plaque.

After the ceremony, Moor stayed on the field to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. He was clearly emotional during the ceremony, but he was also clearly proud of his accomplishments with the Rapids.

"This is a special night for me," Moor said. "I'm so grateful for the support of the Rapids organization and fans over the years. This is a club that I'll always cherish."

Moor's induction into the Gallery of Honor is a fitting tribute to a player who helped to build the foundation of the Rapids' success. He is a true Rapids legend, and his legacy will be remembered for years to come.
