(Golden = Wongeol Jeong) Colorado Summit faced off against the formidable East team, New York Empire, and lost with a score of 19-15, a 4-point difference.


Both teams started the game with an offensive strategy of Vertical Stack, trying to unlock scoring opportunities.

The game started with Saeed Semrin's pull for Colorado. New York took the initiative as the starting team, but Colorado's impressive defense immediately came into play. Cody Spicer, a key defender for Colorado, quickly turned the tide with a swift defensive play, creating an opportunity for a break point.


The break point was achieved by Semrin from Colorado. Semrin threw a disc from the left flank of New York's territory, resulting in a score.

Ending the first quarter tied at 3-3, Colorado took the lead in the second quarter with 4 successful goals, leading the game 7-6. In the third quarter, New York successfully turned the game around by employing the Horizontal Stack.


New York managed to score 6 points in the third quarter alone. In contrast, Summit could only achieve 4 points, starting the fourth quarter at 11-12, trailing by 1 point.

In the middle of the third quarter, New York successfully utilized the Horizontal Stack, completely changing the momentum in the fourth quarter.


Using the Horizontal Stack to their advantage, New York capitalized on Colorado's mistakes. Colorado, having their victory slip away, even allowed a Callahan in the fourth quarter.


In a post-game interview, Colorado's Offensive Coach, Michael Lun, stated, "We attack and defend through positioning and space. By playing against a strong team like the Empire, we will gain valuable experience for the future."


The Defense Coach, Tim Kefalas, expressed, "It was a good game." TK further added, "New York successfully turned the game around in the fourth quarter, but we showcased great teamwork throughout the match," evaluating the game positively.

Regardless of the outcome of the game, Colorado secured a spot in the playoffs.
